This is a completely judgment-free space where every body is celebrated. Every appointment is personalized because no two clients are the same. Thank you for trusting me with something so personal. It truly means the world that you’ve chosen Sacred Beauty, and I can’t wait to meet you. Frequently Asked Questions Payments and Late Policy? I accept cash, Zelle, Apple Pay via text, and tap to pay (will need to add processing fee to tap to pay). My grace period is 4 minutes - I book back to back in 15min increments and want to give you the best possible wax without making the next client wait <3 How long should my hair be before my appointment? For the best results, your hair should be about ¼ inch long (roughly the length of a grain of rice). This is usually about 2–3 weeks of growth after shaving or 4–6 weeks after your last wax. Does a Brazilian wax hurt? Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but most clients say it’s much easier than they expected. I use high-quality cream wax, efficient techniques, and work quickly to make your appointment as comfortable as possible. The more consistently you wax, the easier it typically becomes. Feel free to take ibuprofen 30min prior to your appt. Keep in mind, caffeine will heighten your sensitivity. Can I get waxed while on my period? Yes! Just wear a fresh tampon or menstrual cup to your appointment. Hormones can make you a little more sensitive during your cycle, but it is completely safe to wax. How should I prepare for my appointment? * Arrive with clean, dry skin. * If coming from errands or work, I have wipies! * Avoid heavy lotions or oils on the area being waxed. * Wear loose, comfortable clothing afterward if possible. What should I avoid after my wax? For the first 24–48 hours, avoid: * Hot tubs, saunas, and hot baths * Heavy workouts that cause excessive sweating * Swimming * Direct sun exposure or tanning * Tight clothing that may cause friction * Sexual intercourse How often should I get waxed? Most clients book every 4–6 weeks for the smoothest results and to help reduce ingrown hairs over time. How do I prevent ingrown hairs? Consistent exfoliation and daily moisturizing are the key! I’ll recommend the best products and routine based on your skin type to keep your skin smooth between appointments.
